Hiroshima Station Luggage Storage: Lockers and the Current Counter
Share
Leave for your next train from Hiroshima with less luggage to move. With Silk Crane’s monthly and annual storage, send the extra suitcase from your hotel front desk or a convenience store before a longer stretch of Japan, then arrange delivery to a later hotel. Your route can continue without a trip back to collect it at the station. Shipping is charged separately.
Hiroshima Station luggage storage starts with two practical choices: a locker that fits your bag, or the Crosta luggage counter. Crosta is now on the second floor. Its operator moved the counter in July 2026; older first-floor directions and older prices should not guide your visit.
Picture the next train with a smaller bag
Imagine checking out of a Hiroshima hotel after several days in the region. You have a longer Japan journey ahead, but the shopping and spare clothes in your suitcase are for the final stop. After signing up with Silk Crane, send that suitcase from your hotel using the provided instructions.
You can head to Hiroshima Station with the smaller bag you need for the coming weeks. Arrange the stored bag’s delivery to a later hotel in advance. If you need the suitcase tonight, use local storage or hotel holding and allow time to collect it before your train.

If you are already out with the packed suitcase, you can send it from a convenience store before continuing your departure from Hiroshima. Keep the clothes, documents and everyday essentials you need during shipping with you.
A convenience-store stop, then a lighter day
Already out with a suitcase you will not need for the next part of the trip? Picture sending it from a convenience store, then carrying on with a small bag. Sign up for Silk Crane, follow the supplied sending instructions, keep your essentials during shipping and arrange delivery to a later hotel in Japan.

Where is Crosta Hiroshima now?
The Crosta Hiroshima’s current service guide places the counter on JR Hiroshima Station’s second floor, on the north side. From the Shinkansen ticket-gate area, its directions lead along the passage beside Pokémon Center Hiroshima and past the Hotel Granvia entrance.
The current operator lists opening hours of 9:00–20:00 and temporary storage at ¥1,000 per item. Recheck the guide before travel. When extending storage overnight, the charge is per item per day; one day’s price does not cover a longer stay.
Choose a locker by the route back
For lockers, use the railway station information linked from Hiroshima’s official hands-free travel directory. The directory is useful for map links, but its older Crosta prices are superseded by the operator’s current guide.
At the machine, check compartment dimensions, the daily charging boundary, permitted duration and payment method. Photograph the bank, floor and locker number. Note whether collection requires returning through a ticket gate, rather than assuming any station entrance will work.
Shop minamoa and ekie with your collection point in mind
Station shopping can fit a Hiroshima departure without carrying your spare suitcase between stores. The minamoa and ekie FAQ lists lockers on minamoa’s first-floor east and west sides, in ekie’s second-floor CLINIC & SERVICE zone, beside the second-floor Pokémon Center and convenience store, and beside first-floor DINING.
Choose a bank you can return to before your train, and check the actual locker’s size, charge and access instructions. A shopping-complex locker and the Crosta counter are separate choices; do not use one service’s hours for the other.
For purchases from several shops in the complex, ekie’s second-floor information desk lists a Yu-Pack shipping service. Acceptance ends one hour before closing; refrigerated or frozen goods are excluded, and staff do not pack purchases. This is a separate retail shipping service. For Silk Crane storage, sign up and follow your supplied sending instructions from your hotel front desk or a convenience store.
If the purchases can wait until a later stop, send your packed shopping into storage. Keep the things you need during shipping with you, and leave food and liquids out of the storage parcel. For an afternoon in the downtown arcade, use the separate Hondori shopping guide.
Have a fallback before leaving the station
Large compartments and counter capacity can fill. If the first option is unavailable, ask your hotel about holding luggage or check another confirmed service before heading into the city. Do not assume a nearby shop can accept your suitcase.
Leave enough time for collection, the walk to your platform and any queue. For a museum visit, follow our Peace Memorial Park luggage guide. For a ferry excursion, the Miyajima luggage guide helps decide whether returning to Hiroshima Station suits the rest of the day.
Hotel delivery is a separate service
Crosta also lists delivery to participating hotels. The hotel, destination, day of operation and drop-off cutoff matter; Miyajima-area delivery is not offered on every ordinary day. Confirm the exact hotel and date directly before relying on it.
Use local holding when you need the bag soon, direct forwarding when it should go to the next hotel, or planned longer storage when it can skip several stops. Our Hiroshima city luggage guide connects that choice with the rest of your Hiroshima stay.
Questions before you leave your bag
Where is the Hiroshima Station luggage counter?
Crosta Hiroshima’s current location is on the second floor, on the north side near the route past Pokémon Center Hiroshima and Hotel Granvia. Check its official directions before arrival.
How much is Crosta Hiroshima temporary storage?
The checked operator guide lists ¥1,000 per item and hours of 9:00–20:00. Overnight extensions are charged per item per day. Recheck current terms for your visit.
Can I leave a suitcase overnight at a station locker?
Read the rules on the actual locker, including its charging boundary, maximum duration and access hours. Do not assume a counter’s terms also apply to every locker.
Can I have my bag sent to a Miyajima hotel?
Crosta lists participating-hotel delivery with destination, date and cutoff restrictions. Confirm your exact hotel and travel date; do not assume every island hotel or every day is covered.
