Choose storage for your Hiroshima trip

A garden pause before a smaller-bag journey

Picture a Hiroshima stay before travelling through a few more cities. Your larger case contains shopping and clothes for later, so you send it from the hotel to Silk Crane and arrange its delivery to a later hotel.

At Shukkeien, you carry only the essentials for the day. You can stop beside the pond and enjoy the changing views without making the suitcase part of every turn in the path.

Leave the spare suitcase out of the day and linger over Shukkeien’s pond views.

Keep the suitcase at a confirmed collection point

For a bag you need again today, agree holding with your hotel or use the options in our Hiroshima Station luggage guide. Choose somewhere that fits the route after the garden as well as the journey there.

Shukkeien’s published visitor guidance does not establish a general suitcase-holding service. If you want to bring a case to the entrance, contact the garden first rather than relying on storage there. This is not a claim that every bag is prohibited; it is a reason to arrange the large case before the visit.

Give the garden time before your collection deadline

Shukkeien’s current visitor guide lists 9 a.m.–6 p.m. from March 16 to September 15 and 9 a.m.–5 p.m. from September 16 to March 15. Last admission is thirty minutes before closing; the garden closes December 29–31. Check current notices for your day.

Leave enough time to enjoy the visit before travelling back for your bag. A late admission is not extra storage time, and the place holding your luggage may close on a different schedule. Carry daily medicine, documents and essentials with you while the suitcase waits elsewhere.

Send the extra case and arrange its return

Book your storage plan and follow the sending instructions. Ask your hotel front desk to help arrange the shipment, or use a convenience store that accepts it or a Yamato service center. Keep documents, medicine and everything needed during shipping with you.

Silk Crane receives shipped belongings for monthly or annual storage and later delivery. Shipping is charged separately. Before sending, confirm that your later hotel can receive the case and plan your luggage delivery dates around Hiroshima. The storage and shipping cost guide explains the separate charges.

Questions before you go

Does this guide confirm suitcase storage at Shukkeien?

No. The published visitor guidance checked here does not establish a general suitcase-holding service. Arrange confirmed station or hotel holding, or ask the garden directly.

Does that mean suitcases are banned?

No. Do not infer a blanket ban from the absence of a storage service in the visitor guide. Ask about your bag before bringing it.

How late can I enter?

The listed last admission is thirty minutes before seasonal closing. Check the garden’s current hours for your visit date.

Can Silk Crane return my suitcase after the garden visit?

Use local holding for same-day collection. Silk Crane stores shipped belongings for later delivery, which should be arranged in advance.
