Silk Crane stores your bags in Japan and arranges domestic delivery when you need them again. Contact us at least seven days ahead whenever possible, especially for airports and winter resorts.
Plan around the agreed delivery timing. Same-day service is not something to build a trip around.
Send the spare suitcase from your hotel front desk or a convenience store using your Silk Crane instructions. Monthly and annual storage plans are available; shipping is charged separately.
The bags are planned before the snow arrives
Imagine a winter stay followed by a flight home. You arrange the stored bags’ delivery while there is still time in the itinerary, rather than waiting for the last snowy afternoon.
That margin leaves room to review the route if the weather changes, and keeps the final day focused on the journey.
Earlier in the winter trip, sign up and use your supplied instructions to send spare luggage from a hotel front desk or a convenience store. Keep travel documents, medication and clothing through shipping, including a delay buffer, while arranging the later delivery well ahead.

Our core service is storage and delivery within Japan. If you need overseas shipping, ask before booking; international forwarding must be arranged separately and is not automatic.
Ask before the final week
For delivery to a hotel or resort, provide its name, address and phone number, your reservation name, check-in date and desired delivery date at least seven days before you need the items. Confirm that the property can receive the bags. For other destinations, contact Silk Crane at least seven days ahead whenever possible and use the timing agreed for the route.
Leave space for transport conditions
Weather, traffic, route restrictions and contents that cannot travel by air can affect timing. Keep the tracking details and allow extra room around flights and important hotel arrivals.
Tell us promptly if plans change
If tracking stalls or a bag could arrive after you leave, contact Silk Crane so the carrier status and delivery alternatives can be reviewed. Use the shipping estimates for the separate shipping budget.
Delivery timing questions
Can I rely on same-day delivery?
No. Arrange delivery in advance, especially for airports, ski areas and long-distance routes.
Can Silk Crane ship overseas?
The core service is domestic Japan delivery. Ask before booking if international shipping is needed; do not assume it is already arranged.
What if weather delays the shipment?
Contact Silk Crane promptly with the tracking number and your travel timing so the shipment and possible alternatives can be reviewed.
