The tourism association’s Odawara Station locker list includes the Odakyu gate area, JR gate area, Daiyuzan connection, east and west exits, and HaRuNe. These are different collection points. Follow current station signs and check the bank’s size, payment methods and access before setting off.
Use the Odawara station guide to orient yourself. Do not assume the Shinkansen, local JR, Odakyu and Daiyuzan departures use the same gate or level. Allow time to retrieve the bag before entering the railway for your next train.
Ask at the Odakyu counter for luggage holding
The operator’s Odawara luggage-holding page places the counter opposite the Odakyu gates in the station’s east-west passage. It explicitly lists suitcases and bags too large for lockers; identification must be shown. Current availability and the charge should be checked at drop-off.
Its luggage reception is listed as 8:30–16:00, with collection by 16:30. Use these luggage-specific times rather than assuming that a general tourism-office closing time also applies to your suitcase.
Decide where the next train leaves you

If you continue into Hakone and stay there, an Odawara locker creates a return obligation. Compare the hotel’s arrangements or the Hakone-Yumoto luggage options before committing. A locker near your arrival gate is not automatically the right choice for the rest of the journey.
