Enoura Observatory luggage storage: Enjoy the coastal views with a smaller bag

Take in the coastal architecture and sea views with a small bag, leaving the large case out of the hillside visit. With Silk Crane, send your spare suitcase from the hotel into monthly or annual storage and arrange delivery to a later stay. Shipping is charged separately.

Choose storage for your Odawara trip

A coastal art pause on a longer journey

Imagine a reserved Enoura visit between your Tokyo hotel and a few nights around Odawara. The spare suitcase holds clothes and shopping for later in Japan. Send it from Tokyo to Silk Crane and keep the essentials for this stay in a smaller bag.

You can follow the visitor paths and enjoy the coastal views without bringing that large case to the site. Arrange delivery to your later hotel, confirming reception and allowing time for shipping.

Measure what you plan to bring

The foundation’s Enoura visitor FAQ lists free lockers measuring 40 cm deep, 50 cm wide and 70 cm high. Bags and equipment that do not fit cannot be brought in. The foundation recommends leaving large luggage at Odawara before travelling to the site.

The lockers are limited in number. Keep the visit bag small, measure anything bulky and arrange large-case holding before taking the coastal train. Nebukawa Station has no lockers; arriving there with an oversized case does not provide a second storage choice.

Book the visit and the connection together

Use the foundation’s current visit and transport guidance to choose a session and the outward shuttle from Nebukawa. Advance reservations normally close two days before the visit; follow the deadline and ticket-issuance instructions for the payment and booking route you choose.

The return shuttle does not require a reservation, and traffic can change its destination to Manazuru. Nebukawa has no taxi boarding or dispatch. Keep the return train and any Odawara luggage collection within your plan.

Much of the site is outdoors, with sloping and uneven paths. Check weather-related notices and the visitor age restriction before booking with children. Choose comfortable footwear and leave room in the visit for the coastal setting.

Send the extra case and arrange its return

Book your storage plan and follow the sending instructions. Ask your hotel front desk to help arrange the shipment, or use a convenience store that accepts it or a Yamato service center. Keep documents, medicine and everything needed during shipping with you.

Silk Crane receives shipped belongings for monthly or annual storage and later delivery. Shipping is charged separately. Before sending, confirm that your later hotel can receive the case and plan your luggage delivery dates around Odawara. The storage and shipping cost guide explains the separate charges.

Questions before you go

Can I bring a suitcase that will not fit the lockers?

No. The foundation says bags that do not fit cannot be brought in. Arrange large-luggage storage before the visit.

Can I use lockers at Nebukawa instead?

No. The foundation’s transport guidance states that Nebukawa Station has no lockers.

Should I reserve the outward shuttle separately after arriving?

Choose it with the visit reservation. The outward bus has limited seats; follow the booking instructions and current timetable.

How does Silk Crane fit this part of the trip?
