Shipping is separate from every Silk Crane storage plan. Budget the time your bags stay here, the shipment into storage, and each delivery you arrange afterward.
That gives you the complete plan for traveling with less, whether the bag skips a week of sightseeing or stays in Japan until another visit.

One suitcase, two shipments, a week with less to carry
Imagine a suitcase sent from a Tokyo hotel while you spend a week traveling with a smaller bag. You want it delivered to your later Osaka hotel, so the basic plan has a storage period and two shipments.
You include both routes when planning the cost, then get on with the lighter part of the holiday. If the suitcase goes home with you after Osaka, that storage journey is finished; if you send it back to Silk Crane, add that shipment too.
Before the Tokyo handover, sign up and use your supplied sending instructions. If checkout leaves you already out with the case, a convenience store is another sending point. Keep the week’s clothing and essentials during shipping while the Osaka delivery is arranged ahead.

Storage pays for the period you choose
The storage plan covers the selected item and storage period under its current terms. Monthly and annual options let you plan around a shorter gap or repeated Japan visits.
The plan price does not include the carrier charge for moving the bag. Keep those two parts separate when comparing the arrangement.
Shipping depends on the bag and the route
The sending point, receiving destination, packed size and number of packages all affect domestic shipping. A suitcase sent to one hotel and several golf packages sent elsewhere are different journeys.

Count each movement you ask for
Begin with the shipment into storage and the later delivery. For a golf or ski bag used several times during the year, include each journey out and back.

No. Shipping is always separate from the storage fee and depends on the packages and route. Plan the storage period and each shipment together.
How many shipments should I budget for?
