Make room for Kawasaki’s museums, city stops and evening outings without taking the spare suitcase everywhere. With Silk Crane, send extra luggage from your hotel into monthly or annual storage and arrange delivery to a later stay. Carry what you need for the coming days in a smaller bag; shipping is charged separately.

An easy afternoon between longer stays
Imagine spending two nights in Kawasaki between Tokyo and the next part of Japan. Shopping and spare clothes fill a large case, but the coming days only need a smaller bag. Arrange shipment of that case from your hotel to Silk Crane.
Browse the city shops, take a café break and choose dinner without finding somewhere to park the suitcase. Continue with the smaller bag and arrange delivery of the stored belongings to a later hotel in advance.

Choose local holding for belongings needed today
The Kawasaki Station luggage guide covers the eastern city-center arrival and collection points. JR Kawasaki and Keikyu Kawasaki are separate stations. Lazona Kawasaki Plaza also publishes first-floor locker information for a visit on the JR station’s west side.
For a short outing, agreed hotel holding may be easiest when you are returning there anyway. For spare belongings you will not need until a later stay, sending them to Silk Crane lets you continue without a local collection detour. Check your actual venue’s arrangements; a museum locker or concert cloakroom is not a citywide storage service.
Plan Kawasaki as three connected local areas
Northern and western Kawasaki: use Noborito or the appropriate Odakyu approach for the Fujiko Museum and Nihon Minka-en at Ikuta Ryokuchi. Shin-Yurigaoka is a different arrival point, useful for its own station district and a published Yomiuriland bus route. Reserve the Fujiko Museum’s dated admission before travelling. Choose the return station before leaving a bag.
Central Kawasaki: Musashi-Kosugi and Mizonokuchi offer different railway connections. The Train and Bus Museum is at Miyazakidai, with its own opening calendar and visitor lockers. A shopping stop around Musashi-Kosugi, including Grand Tree, fits the station district; do not assume every shop provides suitcase holding.
Eastern Kawasaki and the waterfront: combine the JR Kawasaki area with Kawasui or a MUZA concert when their schedules suit your day. Give Kawasaki Daishi and its temple approach its own outing. Factory-night-view tours require the meeting point on your booking and a collection plan after dark.

Museums, attractions and evening visits
Choose the actual entrance and opening day
Kawasaki stretches well beyond the neighborhood around JR Kawasaki Station. A hotel address near Shin-Kawasaki or Kashimada, an outing to Yumemigasaki Zoo, or an event at Todoroki needs its own access plan. For these stops, check the venue’s current visitor information and arrange holding before arrival if your case needs to stay behind.
Ikuta Ryokuchi also contains other cultural facilities and walking routes. Check each attraction separately: Nihon Minka-en’s lockers do not establish storage for the whole park. For museums undergoing closure or building work, use their current official visitor notices before planning a visit.
Send the spare suitcase and arrange its return
Book your storage plan and follow the sending instructions. Ask your hotel front desk to help arrange the shipment, or use a convenience store that accepts it or a Yamato service center. Keep medicine, documents and everything needed during shipping with you.
Silk Crane receives shipped belongings for monthly or annual storage and later delivery. Confirm that your later hotel can receive the case and plan your Kawasaki storage and delivery dates. Shipping is charged separately, as explained in the storage and shipping cost guide.
Questions before you go
Should I leave every Kawasaki outing from JR Kawasaki?
Choose the station for the actual venue. Northern museums and central railway districts can use quite different approaches from the eastern city center.
Which guide should I use for lockers?
Use the station guide for arrival and collection. Use the attraction guide for its visitor lockers, cloakroom or luggage arrangements.
Can I rely on a museum to hold any suitcase?
Check the museum’s own current policy. Locker dimensions and oversized-bag holding vary, and visitor services may be limited to your visit.
Does Silk Crane require a visit to a Kawasaki counter?
No. Arrange shipment from your hotel using the booking instructions, then plan delivery to a later hotel with time for shipping.
