Choose storage for your Sendai trip
A quiet visit between longer journeys
Imagine visiting Sendai before continuing around Tohoku with a compact overnight bag. You send the suitcase of spare clothes from your hotel to Silk Crane and arrange delivery to the hotel where you will next need it.
At Zuihoden, you can give your attention to the trees, carved details and hillside paths. Your everyday essentials stay in a small bag, and the large case is already out of the journey.

There are lockers at Parking Lot 1
Zuihoden’s official facility information locates coin-operated lockers at Parking Lot 1, to the left of the main entrance. It does not establish that every full-size suitcase will fit, so check before bringing a large case to the site.
For a bag that must be kept in town, compare agreed hotel holding with Sendai Station luggage storage. This is especially useful when your onward journey starts at the main station.
Plan for the steps and the return journey
Zuihoden’s visitor information describes a steep approach, steps and stone-paved grounds. A small bag makes that route easier, but removing luggage does not make the approach step-free. Check the attraction’s guidance if the climb affects your visit.
Look up the seasonal opening hours and last admission before leaving your hotel. If you use the site lockers, confirm when they must be emptied; if you store in town, include the trip back before your train. Keep daily medicine, water and weather protection with you rather than in the case you leave behind.
Send the extra case and arrange its return
Book your storage plan and follow the sending instructions. Ask your hotel front desk to help arrange the shipment, or use a convenience store that accepts it or a Yamato service center. Keep documents, medicine and everything needed during shipping with you.
Silk Crane receives shipped belongings for monthly or annual storage and later delivery. Shipping is charged separately. Before sending, confirm that your later hotel can receive the case and plan your luggage delivery dates around Sendai. The storage and shipping cost guide explains the separate charges.
