Shin-Osaka luggage storage: send your golf bag and suitcase, then take the train with a small bag.

Shin-Osaka Luggage Storage: A Smaller Bag for the Shinkansen

Take the bag you need onto the next train. Let the extra suitcase or sports gear stay in storage until the part of the trip that needs it.

Silk Crane lets a Shinkansen journey begin without a luggage-storage stop inside Shin-Osaka. Send from your hotel or a nearby convenience store, keep your rail-trip essentials with you, and arrange delivery after the next stretch of Japan.

Plan luggage storage from Shin-Osaka

This is storage arranged by shipping, with later delivery—not a walk-in counter. For bags you need again today or the next morning, keep them in local short-stay storage.

The golf bag stays; the rail holiday continues

Imagine finishing several golf days around Kansai, then taking a week-long rail trip through western Japan. You send the golf bag and extra suitcase from your hotel to Silk Crane, keeping one small bag for the next train.

Now a change of activity does not mean taking clubs through every hotel lobby. Arrange delivery to a later hotel if the gear is coming home, or choose an annual storage plan if it should remain in Japan for another visit. The train journey carries the holiday forward, not every piece of equipment.

A convenience-store stop, then a lighter day

Already out with a suitcase you will not need for the next part of the trip? Picture sending it from a convenience store, then carrying on with a small bag. Sign up for Silk Crane, follow the supplied sending instructions, keep your essentials during shipping and arrange delivery to a later hotel in Japan.

Use the first-floor holding counter for today’s bag

Crosta Shin-Osaka lists its counter on JR Shin-Osaka’s 1F, outside the gates near the front bus-loading area and next to 7-Eleven. Its current published holding hours are 9 am–11 pm. Confirm the bag’s acceptance and collection terms before leaving it.

The operator provides directions from the Shinkansen south gate down to the first floor. Follow the current station signs and use a suitable elevator route with a case. If choosing a locker instead, record its floor and gate side; the counter’s hours do not establish the access hours of every locker bank.

Build collection into the departure time

Return to the first-floor counter with enough time to collect, move between levels and reach the departure gate. Your train’s departure time is not the time to begin the luggage-collection walk. Keep the collection receipt and travel documents in the bag that stays with you.

Osaka Station and Umeda are elsewhere: use the Osaka Station and Umeda guide if that is where your accommodation or bag is based. If your final Osaka stay is in Namba, the Namba stations guide distinguishes its railway terminals before you choose a collection point.

Shin-Osaka for the train, your hotel for sending

Shin-Osaka is the Shinkansen station; Osaka Station is in Umeda. If you are staying near Shin-Osaka, sending the spare luggage before checkout can keep the platform journey simpler. Storage is particularly useful when golf clubs, winter gear or an extra suitcase have finished their part of the holiday but several cities remain. Direct forwarding can be a better fit when everything should simply follow to the next hotel.

After the activity

Store golf, ski or snowboard gear when its part of the trip is finished.

Before the platform

Use the hotel or a convenience store as the sending point.

Until the next visit

Sending is as close as your hotel front desk

Sign up for storage and we send the address and instructions. Your Shin-Osaka hotel can help send the packed luggage with Yamato; a nearby convenience store that accepts the shipment is another starting point. If your accommodation has no front desk, use a convenience store that accepts the shipment or a Yamato service center.

Choose where you want the luggage next

Have the bags delivered to a later hotel, with time to unpack and finish your flight packing. Or arrange delivery to a Yamato airport pickup counter when everything is packed for departure. Share the destination and dates in advance; we confirm the counter for your airport and terminal.
