Choose storage for your Sakai trip
A tea stop between Kansai stays
Imagine spending a few days around Sakai after shopping in Osaka. You will not need the spare clothes and purchases in your large suitcase until a later hotel. Send that case to Silk Crane before leaving your hotel, and pack the coming days’ essentials in a smaller bag.
At Risho no Mori, you have time for the exhibitions and the tea experience you have chosen. Continue afterward without retrieving the stored suitcase locally. Arrange its later delivery ahead of time and keep anything needed during transit with you.

Use the museum’s lockers before entering the galleries
The museum’s entry rules ask visitors to keep large luggage out of exhibition rooms and use lockers. If you need your case again today, check its fit and the collection arrangements before beginning the visit.
The rule does not specify a guaranteed suitcase-sized compartment. For a large case, ask the museum about dimensions before travelling, or use Sakai Station holding or holding agreed with your hotel. Keep tickets, valuables and the things you need inside with you.
Choose the tea experience and the return journey together
Risho no Mori brings together exhibitions about Sen no Rikyu and Yosano Akiko with tea experiences. The official tea-experience page distinguishes different formats. Check the selected experience’s current booking and attendance details rather than assuming every session is walk-in.
The museum access guide places Shukuin tram stop about a minute away on foot, Nankai Sakai about ten minutes away and Sakaihigashi about six minutes away by the direct bus route. Leave extra time for waiting and walking. If your bag is at a station, collect it there before continuing; museum closing time does not extend another counter’s baggage deadline.
Send the extra case and arrange its return
Book your storage plan and follow the sending instructions. Ask your hotel front desk to help arrange the shipment, or use a convenience store that accepts it or a Yamato service center. Keep documents, medicine and everything needed during shipping with you.
Silk Crane receives shipped belongings for monthly or annual storage and later delivery. Shipping is charged separately. Before sending, confirm that your later hotel can receive the case and plan your luggage delivery dates around Sakai. The storage and shipping cost guide explains the separate charges.
