Yurakucho luggage storage: leave the extra suitcase in storage and enjoy shopping and cafés with a small shoulder bag.

Yurakucho Luggage Storage: Lockers, Ginza Shopping and Later Delivery

Enjoy Yurakucho and Ginza without letting a spare suitcase decide where you can stop. With Silk Crane, send luggage from your hotel front desk or a convenience store and arrange delivery when you need it later in Japan. Keep a smaller bag for the shops, cafés and the next part of the trip.

Silk Crane offers monthly and annual storage; shipping is charged separately.

Picture checking out near Yurakucho before a few days elsewhere in Japan. You want to browse Ginza and stop for lunch, but the large suitcase holds spare clothing and purchases that can wait until the final Tokyo stay.

Sign up for Silk Crane and use the supplied instructions to send the suitcase from a convenience store. Keep what you need for the journey and shipping days in a smaller bag. You can enjoy the afternoon, continue to the next destination and arrange delivery to your final hotel before packing for home.

Send before checkout or while you are out

Yurakucho station lockers for a bag needed today

For luggage you need later today, Tokyo Metro’s Yurakucho facilities listing identifies Yurakucho Line coin lockers. It also lists Tokyo Metlocker PLUS near exit D5. That separate service advertises reservation and hotel-delivery functions; check its own booking terms, destinations and deadlines before choosing it.

Do not assume an ordinary locker includes delivery or that all banks can be reserved. For either choice, check the compartment size, charge, collection hours and the exact place to return. A shopping bag bought later in the day may not fit beside the suitcase you have already stored.

Choose the collection route before leaving the suitcase

Use Tokyo Metro’s Yurakucho station and exit guide to relate your locker to the outing. The guide associates D7 with the JR station and the Mullion, Lumine and Marui area, while D8 serves the ItoCiA and Kotsu Kaikan area. An exit label is a route aid, not a promise that a locker stands at that exit.

Yurakucho connects with Hibiya, but a convenient passage does not make their lockers interchangeable. Photograph the operator, bank number, gate side and nearby signs. Before dinner or a late shopping stop, check when you can get back to the locker. If your onward journey starts at Tokyo Station, compare the route with our Tokyo Station luggage guide.

Let the extra luggage skip the stops where you will not need it

Shopping can change what you want to carry between destinations. Our Ginza luggage and shopping storage guide explains how purchases can fit alongside the original suitcase. Prepare the shipment according to the supplied instructions and keep fragile or valuable items you need to supervise with you.

Silk Crane stores sent-in belongings for later delivery; it is not a Yurakucho walk-in counter. Choose a monthly or annual plan and budget separately for shipping. Arrange the final hotel delivery with time to receive and repack the bags. If you need the suitcase on tonight’s train, local holding is the relevant choice.

Questions before you send or store your bag

Are there lockers near Yurakucho Station?

Tokyo Metro lists Yurakucho Line lockers and a separate Tokyo Metlocker PLUS location near D5. Follow the operator’s current information for the service you choose.

Does every Yurakucho locker deliver to a hotel?

No. The separately listed delivery-enabled service has its own terms. Ordinary coin-locker storage means returning to the same locker.

Can I store purchases as well as my original luggage?

You can plan storage around luggage and shopping you will not need until later. Use Silk Crane’s sending instructions, pack appropriately and arrange later delivery with shipping time allowed.
