Where to find luggage holding and lockers by Yufuin Station
The Yufu City Tourist Information Center is beside the station. On its first floor, Yufuin Cheque provides temporary holding and coin lockers. This is a station-area option for bags you will collect again during the visit.
Take essentials out before leaving your bag and keep its receipt or locker instructions with you. Ask about the case you actually have rather than assuming every compartment will fit it. Settle the collection plan before heading toward the shops.
Use the bag collection time to plan the walk
Yufuin Cheque’s published holding period is 09:00–17:00, checked September 2026. Leave enough time to return before closing. Your train might depart later, but that does not extend the luggage-service hours.

Local inn delivery is a separate choice
Yufuin Cheque also delivers to inns affiliated with the local tourism association, under separate acceptance arrangements. Confirm your accommodation and the cutoff. A bag accepted for local delivery is not one you should expect to collect from a locker later that afternoon.
