Arrive in Urawa with room for the day’s plans. With Silk Crane, send the extra suitcase from your hotel into monthly or annual storage, carry a smaller bag and arrange delivery when you need the case again. Shipping is charged separately.
Choose storage for your Saitama trip
An easy pause along the Saitama rail corridor
Picture a longer Japan trip with a few lighter days in Saitama. Your suitcase holds spare clothing and earlier purchases that you will need at a later hotel. Ask the current hotel to help send it to Silk Crane and arrange its return delivery ahead.
In Urawa, you head out with a small bag for lunch and a relaxed walk. When plans change, there is no surplus case waiting at the station to pull you back before continuing.

Use the station listing, then check the actual bank
JR East’s Urawa Station facilities lists coin lockers. For belongings needed today, follow current station signs and check the particular bank before planning the rest of the outing.
The station listing alone does not establish that your suitcase will fit or that a compartment will be free. Read the payment and collection instructions, keep the access code separate and save a photo of the bank.
Remember the gate as well as the locker number
The station information distinguishes the central gate and the Atre North gate, which is for Suica use. Follow the route appropriate to your ticket and the actual locker location; gate information is not a promise of all-night locker access.
Before you head farther through Saitama, collect the bag and leave time for the next train. Our Saitama-Shintoshin Station guide explains a different locker decision, while Omiya Station luggage storage covers the larger hub.
Send the extra case and arrange its return
Book your storage plan and follow the sending instructions. Ask your hotel front desk to help arrange the shipment, or use a convenience store that accepts it or a Yamato service center. Keep documents, medicine and everything needed during shipping with you.
Silk Crane receives shipped belongings for monthly or annual storage and later delivery. Shipping is charged separately. Before sending, confirm that your later hotel can receive the case and plan your luggage delivery dates around Saitama. The storage and shipping cost guide explains the separate charges.
