Urakami Station luggage storage: send your suitcase from the hotel and continue through Nagasaki with a small bag.

Urakami Station luggage storage: plan your Nagasaki collection point

Make your Urakami stop with a smaller bag and time for the city beyond the railway. With Silk Crane, send spare belongings from your hotel into monthly or annual storage and arrange delivery to a later hotel. Keep what you need for this part of Nagasaki; shipping is charged separately.

Choose storage for your Nagasaki trip

A smaller bag for a few Nagasaki days

Picture arriving in Nagasaki midway through a Kyushu trip. Your second suitcase contains earlier purchases and clothing for the final hotel stay. Send it from your current hotel to Silk Crane, keeping the next few days’ essentials in a compact bag.

At Urakami, you step out ready for lunch and the afternoon ahead. The spare suitcase does not need its own return to the station. Arrange delivery to the later hotel in advance, allowing time for shipping before you need those belongings again.

Find the locker bank beside the waiting space

JR Kyushu’s official locker inventory includes Urakami. The operator’s Urakami station layout places the locker symbol beside the waiting space. The drawing is dated April 2023 and the inventory November 2025, so follow current signs for the actual bank.

For a bag needed again today, check the opening, payment instructions and access period before paying. Include wheels, handles and outside pockets when judging whether the suitcase will fit. Save the locker number and a nearby sign; neither the map nor the inventory shows live vacancies.

Keep the station return separate from the sightseeing route

JR Urakami is a conventional-line station, separate from Nagasaki’s Shinkansen gateway. A nearby tram stop is another place again. If you leave the case here, build in the return to this JR station before taking an onward train or heading to your hotel.

For a visit farther into the remembrance area, our Peace Park and Atomic Bomb Museum luggage guide covers the attraction-side decision. If your journey ends at the main gateway, compare the Nagasaki Station collection options before leaving the bag.

Send the extra case and arrange its return

Book your storage plan and follow the sending instructions. Ask your hotel front desk to help arrange the shipment, or use a convenience store that accepts it or a Yamato service center. Keep documents, medicine and everything needed during shipping with you.

Silk Crane receives shipped belongings for monthly or annual storage and later delivery. Shipping is charged separately. Before sending, confirm that your later hotel can receive the case and plan your luggage delivery dates around Nagasaki. The storage and shipping cost guide explains the separate charges.
