The hotel front desk is the most convenient handoff for your packed ski and snowboard equipment. Our Hakuba ski and snowboard storage guide covers a pause between resorts, city days and the months until next winter. For ordinary suitcases, a hotel front desk or convenience store is a convenient sending point.

Where can I store ski or snowboard gear while traveling in Japan?
Send ski and snowboard bags to Silk Crane through your hotel or Yamato. We store skis, snowboards, boots, winter clothing and related bags while you explore, then arrange delivery to your next hotel, resort or airport departure counter.
What if my hotel cannot keep my ski bag until I return?
You can send the bag to Silk Crane and arrange delivery for a later stay. It can go to a different hotel or resort; you do not have to return to the place where you sent it.
Can I leave winter gear in Japan while visiting another country?
Yes. Keep it in storage while you visit South Korea, Taiwan, Southeast Asia or elsewhere, and arrange delivery within Japan when you return.
