Enjoy the house, garden and architectural details without the extra suitcase. With Silk Crane, send your extra suitcase from the hotel into monthly or annual storage and arrange delivery to a later stay. Shipping is charged separately.
Choose storage for your Atami trip
A garden pause before the next city
Picture a morning at Kiunkaku during an Atami stay, with a later city hotel already planned. Send your second case of purchases and spare clothes to Silk Crane and keep a smaller bag for the coast.
You can enjoy the house and garden without moving a large suitcase through the visit. Arrange the case’s later delivery with the receiving hotel, leaving time for shipping.

Check the entrance lockers
The city’s Kiunkaku visitor FAQ lists lockers near the entrance using a refundable 100-yen coin. It does not publish dimensions or promise storage for every oversized bag. Ask before relying on them for a large case.
Keep valuables and essentials with you and collect your bag before leaving. Kiunkaku’s history as an inn does not mean it offers present-day hotel luggage services.
Visit the house during its opening hours
The official Kiunkaku access guide lists regular buses to Kiunkaku-mae, with another approach from Tenjincho. Check the current calendar for closing days and last admission.
Older access text also mentions Yu-Yu, but the current operator notice says that service is suspended. Choose a current regular bus or another confirmed route. The historic bathing rooms are exhibits, not a place for a bath after sightseeing.
Send the extra case and arrange its return
Book your storage plan and follow the sending instructions. Ask your hotel front desk to help arrange the shipment, or use a convenience store that accepts it or a Yamato service center. Keep documents, medicine and everything needed during shipping with you.
Silk Crane receives shipped belongings for monthly or annual storage and later delivery. Shipping is charged separately. Before sending, confirm that your later hotel can receive the case and plan your luggage delivery dates around Atami. The storage and shipping cost guide explains the separate charges.
