Enjoy the beach scenery from the paths and permitted viewing areas. Swimming at Katsurahama is prohibited because of strong currents and large waves. Follow the park’s signs and keep back from the water when conditions are rough.
Choose the bus around the outing you want
The official MY-YU bus guide connects Kochi with Godaisan and Katsurahama. If you want both the hilltop and coast, use the Makino Botanical Garden and Chikurinji guide and leave time to enjoy each stop.
Check the ticket’s coverage before choosing a different return bus. The Godaisan ticket does not cover the Tosaden Katsurahama route. MY-YU tickets do not reserve a seat, so leave room in the day for a busy service.
Bring the return stop and collection deadline together
The normal MY-YU departure point is in Kochi Tabi Hiroba’s parking area south of JR Kochi Station. The last Katsurahama-to-station service on the weekend and holiday timetable arrives at the north-side bus terminal instead. Check the current timetable for your date.
