Tell us which garments need attention, mark them clearly and pack them separately when possible. Treatment and price are confirmed for the actual items.
Send luggage from your hotel front desk or a convenience store using your Silk Crane instructions. Monthly and annual storage plans are available; shipping is charged separately.

Imagine finishing a ski holiday before a few city days. You want to keep the winter jacket and trousers in Japan, but they need care before the next season.
You describe the garments to Silk Crane and put them in a clearly marked inner bag. Once the treatment is agreed, the care can be arranged around storage while you continue the holiday with your city clothes.
Before continuing to the city, sign up and use the supplied instructions for the marked clothing bag. Keep city clothes and essentials during shipping, and arrange later delivery after the agreed care.
Make the care request easy to follow
Tell us what needs attention
Name each garment and the care you would like. Mention the next expected use date if the work needs to happen before a planned delivery.

Mark the garments clearly
Attach a note identifying the garments and requested care. Include your customer name and suite number so the pieces can be matched with your account.
Use the labelling guide for the outer shipment as well.
Keep care items together
Put the garments needing treatment in a separate inner bag or package when possible. Keep other stored clothing apart.
That makes it easier to identify the right pieces without searching through an unmarked suitcase.
Agree the treatment and price
Ordinary clothing and technical fabrics such as GORE-TEX may need different treatment. Silk Crane reviews the request before confirming what can be arranged.
Care is charged separately from storage. Include domestic shipping too; the shipping estimates help with that part of the budget.

Yes. Tell Silk Crane about the items before sending. Treatment and price depend on the garments and are confirmed before work is arranged.
How should I pack clothes needing care?

Is clothing care included in storage?
No. It is a separate requested service. Agree the treatment, timing and price for the garments first.
