Bashamichi: send the spare suitcase from your hotel and explore with a daypack.

Bashamichi Station luggage storage: Leave room for the waterfront

Step off at Bashamichi with room for a waterfront walk, instead of rolling the spare case between stops. With Silk Crane, send your extra suitcase from your hotel into monthly or annual storage and arrange delivery to a later stay. Shipping is charged separately.

Choose storage for your Yokohama trip

A waterfront afternoon between hotel stays

Picture a Yokohama stay followed by several nights along the coast. Your large case contains shopping and clothes you will not need on those short stops. Before leaving your hotel, book Silk Crane storage and arrange shipment, keeping your coastal-trip essentials in a smaller bag.

You arrive at Bashamichi ready to walk toward the waterfront. The spare case stays in storage until you arrange delivery to your later hotel, with shipping time allowed and reception ready to receive it. There is no station locker to return to for that case.

Find the B2 lockers before leaving the station

The Minatomirai Line locker guide places Bashamichi’s lockers in the B2 rest area on the Island Tower side. It lists key-operated, cash-only small and medium compartments. A large suitcase needs a different plan; do not assume a large bank is available here.

For belongings you need back today, check that the bag fits and read the terms at the locker before paying. Keep the key somewhere secure and note the location. If the case is too large, agreed hotel holding may fit your return route better.

Choose a waterfront walk that includes collection

Bashamichi is a Minatomirai Line station, separate from JR Sakuragicho. Use the Bashamichi station guide to select the exit for your first stop.

A one-way walk toward Red Brick Warehouse or Yamashita Park is easy to picture; returning for a case changes that route. If you leave a bag here, include the trip back before choosing your final train. For a museum visit, check that museum’s own bag arrangements too.

Send the extra case and arrange its return

Book your storage plan and follow the sending instructions. Ask your hotel front desk to help arrange the shipment, or use a convenience store that accepts it or a Yamato service center. Keep documents, medicine and everything needed during shipping with you.

Silk Crane receives shipped belongings for monthly or annual storage and later delivery. Shipping is charged separately. Before sending, confirm that your later hotel can receive the case and plan your luggage delivery dates around Yokohama. The storage and shipping cost guide explains the separate charges.
