You do not need to retrace the trip to return a bag.
After using your luggage or sports gear, send it back to Silk Crane from your current hotel, resort or the right carrier sending point.
Use your current return address and suite details, keep the tracking copy and allow around three to five days, with extra room for winter disruption.
Send ordinary luggage from your hotel front desk or a convenience store; arrange skis and snowboards through your hotel or Yamato. Monthly and annual storage plans are available; shipping is charged separately.
The ski week ends in a different town
Imagine collecting your gear for a ski week and finishing at a different resort. You pack it at the final hotel and arrange the return shipment from there.
The gear goes back to storage while you continue toward the city or the flight home with a smaller bag.
Use the instructions supplied with your active account after signup, checking the current return details for this resort. Keep the clothing and documents needed during shipping with you. An ordinary suitcase can return from a hotel front desk or a convenience store; arrange the ski bag with the hotel or Yamato. Arrange delivery again ahead of the next stay when you need the gear.
Pack, identify, send
Use the current return details
Copy the Silk Crane return address, telephone number, customer name and assigned suite number onto the shipment. Check the details supplied for your account.
Prepare the bag for the carrier
Dry and pack the equipment, then use the required ski or snowboard cover. Arrange sports-gear handover with the hotel or Yamato.
Keep the tracking copy
Identify and track every package, especially when several bags return together. An ordinary suitcase can be sent from a hotel, convenience store or carrier counter.
Allow time for the return
Plan around three to five days and more for weather or route disruption. Shipping is separate from storage; check the shipping estimates for the return journey.

Must I return it from the original hotel?
No. The return can start from a different hotel, resort or city in Japan.
Can skis go through a convenience store?
Ski TA-Q-BIN uses hotel or Yamato arrangements; it cannot be sent from convenience stores.
