Imagine a Nagoya stay between Tokyo and a week farther west. Earlier purchases have filled the spare suitcase. Sign up for Silk Crane, follow the supplied sending instructions and send it from your hotel front desk. Keep the clothing, documents and essentials needed for the coming days and shipping time.
At Noritake Garden, browse tableware and stroll past the brick buildings with a small bag. Arrange delivery of the stored case to your later hotel. If you buy ceramics, have them packed for the journey before deciding whether to carry them or send a separate parcel.
Choose the Garden locker around its collection time
The Noritake Garden FAQ lists two locations. Craft Center 1F lockers are available from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; shop lockers are listed from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Both require a refundable ¥100 coin. Keep the collection deadline with the locker number.
The taller compartments are listed as 41 × 49 × 78 cm at the Craft Center and 41 × 48 × 80 cm at the shop, in width × depth × height order. Compare your whole suitcase, including wheels and handles; space is not guaranteed. Valuables and perishables should not be left there. For tonight’s bag that will not fit, arrange hotel holding or station storage before the visit.
Keep the Garden and mall arrangements separate
Noritake Garden’s facility guide helps you choose between the grounds, Craft Center and shop. The site is about a 15-minute walk from Nagoya Station. Check the current opening calendar for the buildings you want to enter.
The adjacent AEON Mall Nagoya Noritake Garden also lists coin lockers. Use the mall’s own floor information and machine instructions. Collect luggage from the Garden before its deadline, even if you plan to continue shopping at the mall.
Send from your hotel front desk or a convenience store
Choose your Silk Crane plan before sending and use the supplied address and sending instructions. If you are already out with the packed suitcase, a convenience store lets you send it without returning to the hotel. Keep documents, medicine and the belongings you need during shipping in your smaller bag.

Give ceramic purchases the right packing
Choose the pieces you want without making every new box part of the next train journey. Ask the shop to protect fragile contents for courier handling, then use your Silk Crane account instructions for the parcel. If you are sending it yourself, your hotel front desk or a convenience store can be the starting point.
Keep a list of purchases and ask about combining them with stored luggage before anything is unpacked. Safe packing decides what can travel together; consolidation does not automatically reduce charges. Arrange later hotel delivery with time to unpack before departure.

Does Noritake Garden have luggage lockers?
Yes. The Garden lists lockers at the Craft Center and shop, with a refundable ¥100 coin and different closing times. Check the actual compartment before relying on it for a suitcase.
Can I collect Garden luggage after shopping at AEON?
Only while the Garden locker location is still accessible. Collect before its deadline; the adjacent mall has its own hours and lockers.
Can Silk Crane hold the suitcase while I visit today?
Silk Crane receives shipped belongings for storage and later delivery. For a bag needed again this afternoon, use local holding or a locker.
Can I send the ceramics I buy?
Arrange suitable protective packing and follow the sending instructions for your active account. Ask about the contents and any repacking before sending fragile purchases.
