Leave same-day luggage at the base

The Mount Omuro luggage FAQ lists paid lockers near the lower-station toilets. Its reference large compartment measures 77 cm high, 35 cm wide and 45 cm deep. Measure your case including wheels and handles, and check actual availability.

The operator allows a case to travel with its owner, but confirms there is no summit locker or holding facility. A bag that goes up remains your responsibility there. For a comfortable visit, settle storage before boarding and collect within the facility’s current terms.

Use the lift and stay on the permitted path

Mount Omuro is a protected natural monument. The operator prohibits climbing its slopes; the lift is the only permitted way to reach the summit. Wind, storms and maintenance can stop operation, so check the current notice before making the journey.

The official lift access guide directs passengers from Ito or Izu Kogen to the Shaboten Park terminus. At the top, the rim walk has gradients; keep to the path and follow staff instructions. Return with time to descend and collect your case.

Send the extra case and arrange its return

Book your storage plan and follow the sending instructions. Ask your hotel front desk to help arrange the shipment, or use a convenience store that accepts it or a Yamato service center. Keep documents, medicine and everything needed during shipping with you.

Silk Crane receives shipped belongings for monthly or annual storage and later delivery. Shipping is charged separately. Before sending, confirm that your later hotel can receive the case and plan your luggage delivery dates around Ito. The storage and shipping cost guide explains the separate charges.
