For belongings needed again today, choose a suitable locker or ask your hotel about agreed holding. Do not assume a tourist-information desk, market or park will receive a large suitcase. For the extra case needed only at a later stay, arrange shipment before leaving your hotel.
Choose one part of southern Miura for the day
Misakiguchi is the railway gateway for the onward trip to Misaki Port and Jogashima. Miurakaigan serves the beach side of the city. These guides cover Miura City, at the southern end of the peninsula; nearby Yokosuka and Kamakura have their own guides.
Check Miura’s official visitor notices before travelling. On 28 September 2026, Kanagawa’s Koajiro Forest notice reports that the forest is closed after the typhoon, with reopening undecided. Keep it out of your walking route until the authority announces reopening.

Is Misakiguchi Station at Misaki Port?
No. The port requires an onward journey from the railway terminus. Use the port guide to plan that part of the day.
Which station should I choose for Miura Beach?
Miurakaigan is the beach arrival. Misakiguchi is a different station with different onward routes.
