Choose storage for your Yokosuka trip
A coastal journey that continues across the bay
Picture travelling through Kurihama before continuing toward the Boso Peninsula. The spare suitcase is for a later city hotel, so you arrange shipment from your current hotel to Silk Crane. Your smaller bag holds what you need for the next several nights.
You can continue to the ferry without leaving that spare case in a station you do not plan to revisit. Arrange delivery to the later hotel with enough shipping time, and check the ferry’s current operating information before setting off.
Name the railway before choosing your locker
JR East’s Kurihama station information lists lockers. Keikyu’s station locker list places its Kurihama lockers inside the gates. These are separate stations, so record the operator and exact bank you use.
Check available size, charges and retrieval terms at the machine. Use Keikyu Kurihama’s station page for the Keikyu layout. Do not confuse nearby Kita-Kurihama with the station named on your plan.
Plan the ferry and check park notices separately
The Tokyo Wan Ferry website provides the crossing information. If you are travelling one way, take the belongings needed on the other side with you or arrange their later delivery before the trip. Station storage does not move a bag across the bay.
As checked on 28 September 2026, Kurihama Flower World’s current access notice reports a temporary storm closure, including parking closure from 28 September. Check reopening before planning a flower-park stop. The normal walking approach is not evidence that the park is currently open.
Send the extra case and arrange its return
Book your storage plan and follow the sending instructions. Ask your hotel front desk to help arrange the shipment, or use a convenience store that accepts it or a Yamato service center. Keep documents, medicine and everything needed during shipping with you.
