A coast walk without the extra case
Imagine a morning around Jogasaki’s rocky shore during an Izu stay. Send the larger suitcase from your hotel to Silk Crane and carry water, a light layer and your daily essentials in a small bag.
You can enjoy the suspension-bridge views without towing a case along the approach. Arrange the stored belongings’ delivery to your later hotel and keep enough with you for the shipping interval.

Leave the case before the approach walk
The official Jogasaki Coast guide describes the suspension bridge and longer coastal walks, but does not confirm a general luggage counter there. For same-day storage, Jogasaki Kaigan Station’s facilities lists lockers outside the gates.
A station locker suits a route that returns to that station. Check space before setting out, and avoid arriving at the bridge with a large case on the assumption that someone can hold it.
Choose the walk before committing to the route
Allow roughly thirty to thirty-five minutes from Jogasaki Kaigan Station to the bridge area, plus the same return allowance and sightseeing time. A short bridge visit does not mean you have walked the full coastal trail.
Use marked open paths and check local notices, weather and daylight before extending the walk. If you finish elsewhere, plan how to return to the stored bag. Keep the collection journey separate from any bus or train you hope to catch afterwards.
Send the extra case and arrange its return
Book your storage plan and follow the sending instructions. Ask your hotel front desk to help arrange the shipment, or use a convenience store that accepts it or a Yamato service center. Keep documents, medicine and everything needed during shipping with you.
Silk Crane receives shipped belongings for monthly or annual storage and later delivery. Shipping is charged separately. Before sending, confirm that your later hotel can receive the case and plan your luggage delivery dates around Ito. The storage and shipping cost guide explains the separate charges.
Questions before you go
Is there a luggage counter at the bridge?
A general counter is not confirmed by the visitor information checked. Arrange storage before walking to the coast.
How far is the coast from the station?
The bridge area is roughly thirty to thirty-five minutes on foot from Jogasaki Kaigan Station, before stops.
Must I walk the entire coastal trail?
No. Choose a shorter bridge-and-viewpoint visit if that suits your time, weather and return plans.
How does Silk Crane fit this trip?
Send belongings into monthly or annual storage before this part of your trip, then arrange delivery to a later hotel. Shipping is charged separately and needs time. Use local holding for bags needed again today.
