Choose storage for your Hiratsuka trip
A quieter city walk during a coastal stay
Imagine a Hiratsuka afternoon between hotels, with a spare suitcase full of shopping for later. Send it from your current hotel to Silk Crane and keep a compact bag for the next few days.
You can pause beneath the shrine trees and continue into the neighboring park without taking the extra case around the streets. Arrange its delivery to the later hotel, confirming reception and allowing time for shipping.

Settle luggage before the north-side walk
The Kanagawa shrine association’s Hiratsuka Hachimangu listing and city’s Hachimanyama Park guide do not establish general suitcase holding. Ask directly if you need a venue arrangement for your particular bag.
For belongings needed again tonight, the station guide covers a confirmed outside-gate locker bank. Check its terms and save the collection point before leaving. Hiratsuka Hachimangu is a different shrine from Tsurugaoka Hachimangu in Kamakura.
Use the city route across the main road
The city places Hachimanyama Park about ten minutes on foot from the station’s north side. Its trees and garden setting make a natural companion to the shrine. Allow more time for browsing and pauses than the walking estimate alone.
The city’s explanation of the old shrine approach notes that Route 1 divides Daimon-dori from the shrine and that a direct pedestrian crossing has not been installed. Follow the marked street crossings and current walking route. The special New Year crossing is not the everyday approach.
Choose a short shrine-and-park visit or continue toward the art museum according to the time you have. If you use station holding, include the walk back before the onward train.
Send the extra case and arrange its return
Book your storage plan and follow the sending instructions. Ask your hotel front desk to help arrange the shipment, or use a convenience store that accepts it or a Yamato service center. Keep documents, medicine and everything needed during shipping with you.
Silk Crane receives shipped belongings for monthly or annual storage and later delivery. Shipping is charged separately. Before sending, confirm that your later hotel can receive the case and plan your luggage delivery dates around Hiratsuka. The storage and shipping cost guide explains the separate charges.
