Use the tower’s published dimensions
Goryokaku Tower’s first-floor facilities places the lockers immediately left of the main entrance. The published large size is 83 × 44 × 57 cm (height × width × depth), at ¥500; small lockers are 40 × 44 × 57 cm at ¥300. Check your whole case, including wheels and handles, against the actual opening.
The operator states that lockers are available only during tower opening hours and that belongings cannot be retrieved after closing. If the case will not fit or no suitable space is free, arrange another verified option before starting the visit.
Let tower collection set the return time
The park and tower are neighboring parts of the outing, but an outdoor walk does not extend indoor locker access. Set a reminder early enough to return, collect the bag and continue comfortably.
Check current Goryokaku Tower notices for your date. As checked in September 2026, the tower announces exterior repair and repainting through November 15 while remaining open. Plan the visit around current conditions rather than an older photograph.
