The set then returns to humidity-controlled storage, ready to wait for the next Japan trip.

Clean before the longer wait
Removing dirt, sand and moisture helps reduce residue and corrosion risk. Humidity-controlled storage manages environmental moisture; it does not replace cleaning dirty clubs.
Protect the appropriate surfaces
Light protective oil is used only on suitable exposed metal. Carbon-fiber faces and finished surfaces that do not need oil are not oiled.

Leave a week for the work
