Hold on to the sender copy and tracking number until Silk Crane confirms arrival.
Sending more than one piece?

Use one waybill per piece
Each suitcase, snowboard bag, golf bag, or other piece needs its own orange collect waybill.

If you do not have a waybill in hand, ask the front desk or stop by a 7 Eleven or Family Mart - they stock these waybills.

Copy your complete assigned Silk Crane delivery details from your welcome email and use the example in your leaflet.

The sweepstakes is open to eligible adults aged 18 or older where permitted by law. The first entry period starts September 4, 2026, at 12:00 a.m. Japan Standard Time and ends September 30, 2026, at 11:59:59 p.m. Japan Standard Time. Later entry periods follow each calendar month in Japan Standard Time.

We randomly select one potential winner during the first 7 calendar days of the following month.

During the entry period, open the Silk Crane contact form. Enter your full name and email, then put the following in the Comment box:

Is collect shipping free?
No. You do not pay Yamato at the hotel, but inbound shipping is charged separately from storage. Silk Crane invoices your account after receiving the package. See the shipping estimates.
Do I need to sign up before sending my luggage?
Yes. Your welcome email contains the assigned delivery address and suite number we use to identify your luggage. Wait until you receive those details before sending anything.
How am I entered when I use the orange waybill?
Your first qualifying entry becomes official when Silk Crane receives an orange collect-waybill shipment during the entry period and matches the name and suite number to your account. No separate entry form is required.
Does sending several bags give me more entries?
Yes as long as they are the orange collect waybills. Share our service on social media and show us those shares to get more entries too!
Can I enter without using Silk Crane or paying anything?
No, this is a giveaway to customers.
What if the hotel does not have another orange waybill?
The hotel front desk will typically have mroe on hand or 7 Eleven and Family Mart convenience stores also have them.
